In love with Vancouver

One reason for my stay here in Canada is to improve my english language skills. So I really need to reduce my use of german. That's why I am trying to write my blog articles in English now 😀 Please don't judge my grammar use, as long as you understand what I want to tell you, it is fine :)

On Sunday we had an Eastern Hunt in the Queen Elisabeth Park near to our house. Sally organized it and it was really fun! We were about 15 people pretending to be kids again 😀 I found one of the big chocolate bunny - actually it fell from the tree next to me 😀 After the hunt we were all at our house, picknicking in the living room. It was so nice to spend this part of the day with these great people :)
In the afternoon I went to the Vancouver Lookout. That's an high tower from which you can look around the whole city. That was awesome! You see Downtown, the Stanley Park, the Coal Harbour, North Vancouver, the Lion Gate Bridge aaaaand my Hotel where I stayed the first night ;)

The great thing is, that once you bought a ticket, you can come back the whole day. So I was there in the afternoon and then got back to the sunset. It was so amazing to see the sun go down over this great city! I was sitting there for half an hour just watching the sunset :)

Monday was my last day in Vancouver. The make the most of my day, I started it with visiting the Vancouver Aquarium. It's really big! They have even dolphins there! Unfortunately there were so many kids - they were a little bit annoying.

Afterwards I went to Gastown. This trip took me nearly 2 hours! Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and it's very nice. However you have to take care that you don't get to the Hastings Street, which is not a very nice place...

At the end I walked to the Robson Street - a big shopping street. There are so many shops, people, restaurants and so on, that's really crazy.

When I came back home, I cooked dinner for the whole house. Cooking for 10 people! Weird! I made Potatoe Salad with apple and onions. It tastes good :) Then we spent the rest of the evening with chatting and relaxing :)
It was such a great time in Vancouver! 😘

Today I took the Greyhound Bus to Revelstoke. The journey took me 9 hours, but the time runs very fast and the view was great at some points! Now I'm really looking forward to my stay near Revelstoke! :)
